Thanksgiving

We went to my parent's house for Thanksgiving.
All my brothers, sisters and their families
came over too. I think we had like
20 adults and 10 kids there.
We set up three huge tables. 2 in
the dining area and 1 in the actual living
room. Luckily the rooms and tables were all
close together so that we could
visit with everybody.

We had a great time visiting, eating
and playing games. We hung out there
all day long and the best part
was the BIG, GREEN, salad I ate for
Thanksgiving dinner!

Barack Obama

I'm excited for change and I think Barack Obama
is the right choice to be the next President at this time.
I think he'll make a great President.

PBJ'S

My oldest son Anson has a love affair with
peanut butter & jelly sandwiches.
He eats at least one every single day.
He's not happy until he gets his sandwhich
and if we run out of peanut butter,
jelly or bread he reminds us to go
grocery shopping before he gets
home from school.
He will even text us while he's
at school to make sure we went to the store.
I don't know what he does once he makes
one because I find jelly all over the house
in the weirdest places.
I've found it on the T.V,
on the carpet, on the walls,
under the counter, on the refrigerator,
and even the ceiling!
You name it, I've found it there.

I caught him one afternoon making
one of his sandwhiches. He was a little embarrassed
that i was taking pictures, but I had to
show how much jelly he packs into that thing!

Drummer # 2 !

We noticed Anson Jr's gift of drumming
when he was very young - around two years old.
We got him a little drum set and as he got better
the drum set's have become better.

We have noticed the same gift in Ashton.
Luckily for Ashton he gets to learn
to play drums on an awesome set!
He has SO MUCH energy and
the drums are the perfect way to
release all of it!

My husband has been really great
being so invloved in developing
their talent.

ANYWAY....

This morning Ashton was in on the drums
and Anson Jr. went in to show him
a new beat and gave him some tips.
It was the CUTEST THING!

Photoshop Midterm

I turned in 3 midterm projects last week in my Photoshop class and got them back yesterday. I was little disappointed that I got an A-. When we did a critique last week we were able to view everybody's projects and I have to say that most of them were VERY simple and not very good. But anyway, here is a picture of one of my midterm projects.

You jealous?

My 9 year old, Ammon is such an amazing kid.
My other two boys are amazing too, in other ways,
but I'm going to brag about Ammon right now.
We had a parent/teacher conference a
couple weeks ago and he is doing so great at school
and his teacher just loves him.
She made the comment that
she wished that she had a
"classroom full of Ammon's".

Anyway, he has been cleaning his room
everyday without me asking and
lately, making his and his brother's bed in the
MORNING'S BEFORE SCHOOL!
I never made my bed in the morning's
until a couple years ago!

This is what I woke up to one morning
and went back into my room to get my
camera so that I could capture
this great moment.
I was just amazed!

Halloween Costumes!

I LOVE Halloween and I LOVE dressing up.
It seems like the last couple of years,
I have waited until the last minute to figure out
what I'm going to wear to take the
kids out trick or treating.

My two youngest boys have
had their costumes for about a
year now. We bought the costumes
super cheap after Halloween last year.
Obi Wan Kanobi and Jango Fet from Star Wars.
I was at Goodwill (the best store EVER)
a couple of months ago and found a Darth Vader
costume for my oldest.
I thought it was perfect!

So an hour before we were to go
trick or treating last Friday, Anson Jr.
said he is not going to wear that costume
and would find something else.
WELL....
I didn't have a costume, so guess what I as for Halloween?
